Egg & Spoon is owned and operated by husband and wife Dan and Jo Pearson based in beautiful Ōtepoti Dunedin, Aotearoa. Dan is a former fine-dining chef with a wealth of experience in food and cooking, and is the wizard behind our amazing recipes.
We launched the Wild Fennel Co. range in 2014 as a small selection of meat rubs, selling at local farmers markets and then on to a handful of stockists. We moved to the South Island in 2016 and worked hard on growing the Wild Fennel Co. brand. But we weren't content sitting still, and in 2019 launched Dog Town Mustard, a range of flavoursome gourmet mustards with a vintage vibe.
The latest addition to the Egg & Spoon family is Gorilla Pickles; punchy, crunchy pickled onions available exclusively to Egg & Spoon online. With more ideas up our sleeve, the Egg & Spoon journey has only just begun. Watch this space!
