Egg & Spoon is owned and operated by husband and wife Dan and Jo Pearson based in beautiful Dunedin, New Zealand. Dan is a former fine-dining chef with a wealth of experience in food and cooking - he's the wizard behind our amazing recipes!
We launched the Wild Fennel Co. range in 2014 as a small selection of meat rubs, selling at local farmers markets and then on to a handful of stockists. In 2016 we made the move from Auckland to Dunedin and set up shop in the working port town of Port Chalmers. As creative people we’re never content sitting still, and in 2019 we launched Dog Town Mustard, a range of flavoursome gourmet mustards with a vintage vibe. Our newest brand, Gorilla Pickles, has been in the works for years and we’re excited to get these punchy crunchy pickled onions out into the world in 2020.
